Café

The Botanic Gardens Café is set within lush garden surrounds and overhanging tress, overlooking the duck pond.

Offering fresh light meals including a selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, baked goods and excellent coffee, the café provides an excellent casual spot to take a break while exploring the Gardens.

Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden Experience - Walking Tour

Enjoy a guided tour through the Royal Botanic Gardens and finish with a lunch or morning/afternoon tea in the Café. During the tour you will be able to touch, taste and smell unique native flora and learn how Aboriginal Australian's use plants for tools and medicine. Tours conclude with either morning or afternoon tea or lunch in the Café, which may include fresh damper or scones with bush condiments, and grilled barramundi or roast chicken with salad and fresh bread for lunch (menus subject to change). The picturesque Botanic Gardens Restaurant is an enchanting venue oﬀering open-air dining in exquisite garden surrounds. The original 19th Century facade is paired with a sleek modern interior, wide wisteria-draped verandahs and spectacular leafy and harbour views.

A fresh twist on Australian cuisine is matched with professional and friendly service, making the restaurant the perfect place for a memorable dining experience or special event.

Enjoy an open-air lunch during the week, or long breakfast on the weekends, and indulge in quality food with our seasonally changing menus.

The restaurant is available for exclusive hire for private events such as weddings, engagements and christenings as well as corporate events. Two private dining areas are also available for small group bookings.
